Labor Day Weekend!

It's the last weekend of summer, and I wasn't about to miss it. C-section or not, I wanted to join in the celebrating- after all the state I was in was better then having to endure one more weekend pregnant.

Saturday the 4th

We had a fun celebration with the Andreason Family. It was great to see everyone.

Baby M snoozed almost the whole time.

Craig enjoyed being able to rough house with the guys.

I think we all enjoyed our time with the Andreason Family. Hope we can get together more!

Monday the 6th

We met once again at the my parents pool for perhaps the last swim of the summer. There was a fall nip in the air, but it was still rather warm and beautiful outside.

The pool was super warm thanks to the heater. Everyone enjoyed swimming that day. I even got in and sat in a lounger for a bit.

Little H enjoyed holding his baby. He's usually sweet about it, but I'm sure we all expected an eye dig, or something along those lines, to come of it eventually.

Buy me toys and I'll ignore them, but give me a fork and I'm happy.

The boys love all the yummy corn we've been getting. And they eat it so well too.

As always we all enjoyed a fun holiday weekend!

Wednesday September 8, 2010: Has it Been a Week Already?

They let me go home on Friday the third.
Mom was way excited to get me dressed in my clothes.

Can't forget this. It's way too important to me, Mom and Dad

My first night I had Mom and Dad all to myself.
My brothers were with Grandma and Grandpa A. Dad requested that I sleep in the bed with them. Mom agreed, but she had a rough night. I don't think it was my fault though. More the fault of not knowing quite how to position those pillows after surgery. Luckily the next night went better though I now snooze in my bassinet like a big boy. I sleep better in my own bed.

My Dad. . .
Thinks I'm the bee's knee's. He can't get enough of me.

Mom says. . .
I'm so expressive with my hands and my face. She says I always look like I'm trying to take everything in and figure everything out. Sometimes I look very unsure, but most the time I just look like a sweet little heart.

My brothers. . .
Think my toys are way fun. Little do they know they were once their toys.

They love to play with me. Little H is always asking to hold me, and Big H finally acknowledges that I exist. They like my bottle, and they steal drinks from time to time.

Cousin K. . .
Finally agreed to hold me after the family party on Saturday- everyone thought Mom was crazy to go, but she loves family and she loves parties. K asks a lot of questions about me and he thinks my mom should keep having those babies.

As of Wednesday the 8th. . .
I'm a week old. I'm really starting to love my family, and I think I'm happy to stay a while.

Vote!

The two H's are in an online baby contest so go vote for them. Not sure if you can vote for both of them, but at least pick your favorite.

Big H

Vote!

I changed the links, so maybe it will be easier. Little H is associated with my Yahoo email and Big H is associated with my hotmail email. I don't want to post my email address' here, so if you need them let me know and I'll try to find a more private way to get them to you. You do have to register apparently, which I think is dumb. I was hoping they would make it more simple then that.

And Then There Were 5

Our family changes faster then the weather. I feel bad for those trying to keep track. On September 1, 2010 we welcomed our third child into the world. His delivery was swift and wonderful. How great it is to be in the same room as a brand new little life enters this world. He wasn't happy about being pulled out of his current residence. He was feisty and strong, and wanted those doctors to leave him alone. He has since calmed down and become content. He's a sweet good little boy, and we're falling more and more in love with him each day.

Mom got to hold him for a minute, but then hey took him downstairs to put on a funny mask to help clear out his lungs. I was worried that it would be the beginning of another stressful stay in the level 2 nursery, but it was only a few minutes later that Craig was telling me they were taking it off and all was well.

Grandma was waiting right outside the OR doors, so she could catch a glimpse of her new grand baby. She gave the boys a quick peek at their new brother before they wheeled him downstairs.

The c-section went well. Though the spinal made me sick, unlike the epidural, it was worth it because I didn't feel anything while they took the baby out. And the surgery, and recovery, seemed faster then last time.

We had a lot of visitors come by. My brother and his family among them. My brother now shares a birthday with this little guy.

But my favorite visitors were my two little boys. They were so cute with their new brother.

My poor dad was so put out because he had to work out of town and couldn't be there for the birth. He was overjoyed that night when he finally got to lay his eyes on his new little grand son. "You did good!" he told me.

I brought the costumes to work on when I got bored. I,of course, had to try stuff on to see if it fit.

I love going from being pregnant to having a beautiful new baby. I love the joy it brings to people. I love how content I feel. I love the adoring looks from my husband. And I love getting to know my new child.

Announcements will be sent out soon. If you want to know the name email me or Craig.

6 lbs, 15 oz and 19 inches of pure perfection!
