Also, here is how Craig passes time at work.
This month we had the opportunity to go to the baby blessing for the daughter of Craig's cousin that passed away last summer. The blessing was beautiful, and we had fun seeing everyone. The boys really enjoyed the luncheon afterwards.
Then that week found us making a quick trip down to Vegas. Craig's brother is a dentist and we asked him to fix some of Little M's teeth. It was a nice excuse to get away for a bit. We didn't realize we'd be traveling on the twins birthday. So Craig's Sister-in-law put together a fun dinner for the boys. They roasted hot dogs, and made s'mores. We were so grateful for all she did!
Baby S accidentally sat on his s'more.
Big H insisted that we buy these Transformer cupcakes at Sam's. I didn't want to bother with traveling with them, but he insisted it was what he had to have. They survived pretty well.
We had trouble lighting a candle for the Happy Birthday song.
The next day, after Little M's procedure we went sight seeing. We took the boys to the Hoover Dam and the big bridge.
We had a lot of fun! I could have done with out the wind though.
The Bridge
Hoover Dam
How cute is this?
Rubbing the feet for good luck.
I think it looks good on him.
Baby S was determined to climb all the stairs by himself. He even got a round of applause. . .
. . .and dirty hands.
The boys were so excited! They got kites from their cousins for their birthday. We couldn't get away with out flying them. They had so much fun!
Flying kites is all good and fun until someone crashes into the pavement. He's yelling at me for taking his picture.
I think the Diet Mountain Dew helps.
The poor guy had a huge goose egg. It was so sad.
That night we took the boys around to see Vegas when the sun goes down. I'd tell them, "Look! Look, at the lights." They were busy watching the movie. So we turned it off, and I would tell them again. Then they said, "OK, we looked at the lights. Can you turn the movie back on now?" They were pretty excited about the strip though. But they lost interest quick and demanded the ice cream I promised.
The next day we headed to the strip to make a quick visit before we left town.
We took the boys to the Coca Cola store. And we got a cute pic with the bear.
Then we went to M&M's World.
We even took time to enjoy the free 3D movie
It was their first 3D movie. It was so fun to watch them.
On the way back to the car we ran into Bumblebee. I "insisted" that Big H get a picture.
On the way out of town we made a stop to get a pic of "The High Roller". It's a new record breaking Ferris Wheel on the strip. It's huge!
Poor Baby S didn't tolerate the wind too well. His eyes are so gooey and they keep getting worse.
Everyone was so tired and grouchy, so we didn't make it far without stopping. That was OK with me because just outside of town is a truck stop with a Godfather's pizza. Godfather's Pizza!!! Can you believe it? I got myself a cinnamon streudal desert pizza, and convince Craig it was worth getting obsessed over.
Fun drive home! Kind of :S
We were pretty tired when we got home.
