Baby M loves afghans. He drags them all over the house. Lays them on floor to make a bed. Rubs them on his the face and asks me to wrap them around him. I'm hoping to find a way to make him an afghan for his second birthday-- the twins got a fleece tied quilt for their second birthday. I wish i had tried harder to harness those crocheting skills my mom taught me as a kid.
Grandma taught me, and I still remembered the basics but couldn't remember/didn't learn all the fancy stitch names, but I found some free patterns online that I really wanted to make. Good ol' Youtube saved the day. There are tons of great videos, I was easily able to pick it back up! Good luck! Love that cute little face!
