September 26, 2009: Grandpa's Pumpkin Party

Saturday was one of my favorite parties of the year. My Grandpa's Pumpkin Party. Our little family dressed up as characters from Pinocchio this year. My wonderful husband even dressed up with me. I've been working hard on these costumes the last two weeks and I couldn't wait to put them on parade. There are still some kinks to work out, mostly with Hyrum's, but I think all in all the costumes turned out great!

I requested that we take pictures of everyone's costumes before we did anything else because, lets face it, with my boys, spit up happens and it happens a lot.

*Some of the pictures are big I know. But it takes a while to load pictures with our internet and I accidentally had it set on large. I'm too lazy to change it, so I hope you enjoy the extra large pics.*

After pictures we had dinner. . .

. . .and then it was fun and games. My aunt brought her balloon dartboard- a fun and popular tradition. I didn't win anything but Craig won me a pretty leaf plate.

While everyone played the game. I took some more pics.

Here's Craig playing dead.

Here are the kids running and playing.

These two little girls are twins that live by my brother and sis-in-law.

After the game we all gathered round the pumpkin patch. This is always the highlight of the evening.

While everyone was picking pumpkins we got a pic of the cousins with their babies. We are all about a year a part and we have each had a baby, or in my case babies, within this last year.

Here's some fun pics to wrap up the post

Big H loves the tulle on my dress as much as his brother. He was playing with it all night.

Aunt Candice and Uncle Don with the boys.

Such a fun pumpkin party! Thank you Grandpa and Grandma! It was wonderful as always!

September 12 and 21, 2009: The Boys Are such good Helpers

A couple Saturdays ago, after receiving my Grandma's Pumpkin party invite, I sat down and started working on our Halloween costumes. Apparently the party will be on the 26th of September which left me with very little time to put things together. Well Little H got fussy so I put him on my lap, and he decided he wanted to help. He was pulling and playing with the tulle. Putting it in his mouth on occasion. It was adorable! He wasn't as into it when we decided to pull out the camera, but we got a couple cute pics.

He loved the tulle so much I gave a scratch piece I had in my drawer. He played with it for a bit and then he threw up on it.

The next day his daddy wrapped it around his head for some cute pics!

The poor little boy had just gotten back from the doctor. The instacare doc said he seemed happy and healthy, but that he might be starting to get a respiratory virus that's been going around. He sounded so horrible that weekend. He was so congested, and he wouldn't drink anything. I'm still yet to find out what the deal is with that boys congestion.

The boys have also been helping me walk my nephew to kindergarten. I took these pics on Monday, but they help me everyday.

Such cute boys!
