Superheroes are the latest craze at this house, as I've mentioned numerous times. From sound effects to fake fighting the boys constantly have the caped crusaders on their mind. A simple thing like asking me to put eyeliner on them,-- and me drawing the bat symbol on their cheeks-- has turned into having to draw symbol after symbol on their tummies, rings on their fingers and many other fun superhero themed things. They then walk around holding up their shirts for everyone to see. Sadly half the time the symbol is so faded people usually just give s puzzled look, wondering why a 3 year old is flashing his tummy.
Big H has pretended to be everyone from Batman to Wonder Woman. He has also started stretching a rubber band across his eyes, like a mask, saying, "I'm Green Lantern."
They've enjoyed dress up and drawing the symbols themselves-- Little H is pictured with his drawing of the Green Lantern. They even enjoyed The Avengers movie thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Stratton.
"It's time to hero up!" As Little H would say.
Lol!! You should totally change the title of this post to - it's time to hero up! that is the best phrase i've heard in a long time! Thanks for the laugh little H!
