Friday we stayed up very late putting the finishing touches on everything.
Here's our room
And here's the boys room
We even got a coat of paint on the guest room. Unfortunately the pokemon rendition is still showing through 3 coats of primer and a coat of paint. We're hoping that one more coat will do.
The other half of the guest room will be wood paneling so that's why we've left it unfinished.
We touched some stuff up around the house too. There's still a lot of work to be done, but for now we are ready to move in :)

October 19 and 20, 2009: Phase I of Project House into Home
Here are some pictures of the living room and kitchen. We don't plan on making any drastic changes to these rooms as of now.
This is one of the rooms we've been working on the last two days. This room will be mine and Craig's room. We've been putting on a coat of primer, and now hopefully we can start the actual painting.
This is the other room we've been working on. This will be our guest room. We've been giving it a nice coat of primer too.

October 15, 2009: A Big Step and a Huge Adventure
Thursday was the big day! Craig and I were given the key to our first house.
The first few days we spent in sort of a daze. We kind of kept forgetting that we could now work on the house.
On Monday we kicked ourselves in the butt and went to work. We bought bought 6 gallons of paint and a bucket of primer, and began the process of making our house our home.

October 13, 2009: Witches at Gardner Village
On Tuesday the boys and I met Craig up at Gardner Village for our traditional Halloween visit. We decided to go during the day, and before it got too crowded, but unfortunately we picked a day that was windy and stormy. Everyone still enjoyed themselves though.
We, of course, visited the candy store. I got a giant peanut butter cup and Craig got a caramel apple. Then we walked around and took some pictures with the witches.
The boys started to get hungry so we headed to Archibald's Restaurant to feed them. Apparently they don't allow strollers in there, so we had to park ours outside. We fed the boys and got some food for ourselves.
After dinner, we headed to the Christmas Store to get out of the rain. This is my favorite store! We picked up some "Baby's first Christmas" ornaments for the boys, and bought a few other decorations that were on clearance.
The best part of this trip was that we finally wore my nephew out and he slept for the whole drive home. ;)

October 9, 2009: A Fun Little Visit
On Friday night we got a fun visit from Craig's mom, Aunt and Grandma. The boys were so excited to see everyone. But the one who was really excited was my nephew. He spun around and around on the floor trying to get everyone's attention. I finally told him he should tell them about school or sing some songs. So he read them a book and sang his phone number and address song. Mean while Big H showed off his jumping skills, and little H showed off his standing skills. It was a fun night for everyone!
I'm glad you guys could stop by! We sure enjoyed the visit.

October 9, 2009: The First Time The Boys Wear The First Articles of Clothing Purchased for Them
I had to post a picture of the boys in these pajamas because they are the first articles of clothing that were purchased for my twins.
Shortly after I found out we were having twins I called my friend Jenni. She informed me that she was going to run out and buy me a present. She presented me with these adorable pj's. I put them on the boys for the first time tonight, and I have to admit I was rather excited to do so!
I lucked out and got to use these sooner than I thought due to the fact that my boys can fit decently into 12-18 months clothes. They definitely take after their father :)

Yes We are Those Kind of People
I have to admit it- even though I've spent a majority of my life dressing up my animals in costumes- we have become those people who put outfits on their small dogs. Yes we bought an actual article of clothing for our pet that she wears daily.
OK. . .OK. . .we bought two!
She just seems so cold up here, and since they have such cute Halloween outfits we thought, "Why not be festive?"
Well she's going to be cold all winter and she can't wear that pumpkin sweater the whole time, so we bought here a pink doggy coat too.
I know it's tacky, but truthfully I've kind of always wanted an excuse to buy my dog a sweater.
On another note look at the cute bag I made for my friend during conference! So this is a first and they will only get better, but I still thought it looked pretty cute.

October 3, 2009: Girls Night Out With the Boys!
Saturday, during the priesthood session, my mom and I took our semi-annual girls night out. The boys had to join us but we didn't mind too much. We went shopping at Burlington where we both bought some clothes- I actually bought me clothes instead of the boys for the first time in 4 months- and we went in on a stroller for my newest niece or nephew that will be here in February.
After shopping we went to eat at Mimi's Cafe!
Little H was in a playful mood. He was talking and grabbing at everything. He even grabbed the glasses off of Grandma's face.
Big H just sat there solemn and happy.
We all enjoyed our meal until the end when we found out that both boys had messed in their diapers and their clothes. I really need to start bringing the spare clothes bag with me. And I need to put plastic bags in the actual diaper bag. Luckily Mimi's was very accommodating.
All in all it was a very enjoyable evening. Thanks For the wonderful night out boys!

September 30, 2009: There Just Aren't Enough Bouncy Horses to go Around
To: Little H and Big H
Happy 6 month! Love: Mom and Dad
On Wednesday we were finally able to get the boys their present for turning 6 months old. Of course, them turning 6 months old was just a handy excuse. The real reason we bought the present was because there's only one bouncy horse and two babies. It seemed whoever was in the horse was riding high leaving the other baby to mope on the floor with the regular toys.
The boys love there new toy! Especially little H.
