Fall Excursions and Cute Pictures

I'm sure you all have noticed that I love to capture pictures of the pretty, mountain, fall scenery. Every year we take a trip up the canyon, or canyons. And every year I endeavor to to catch the beauty and brilliance of the fall leaves we see as best as I can. This year I wasn't quite as ambitious with my photo taking. But I was grateful to have the opportunity to capture something since having gas money to simply drive up our local canyons seemed out of the question. The first trip was with my parents. Sadly Craig had to work. We went to a park up Provo Canyon called South Fork Park. It was beautiful, and had lots of trails.

We enjoyed the pretty scenery.

The Boys enjoyed hiking and playing around

This is Little H's "treasure" as he called it.

South Fork was way fun, and was beautiful. I really enjoyed our trip there. I'm glad my parents thought of it. Though I was sad we missed out on our annual trip up to Cascade Springs.

Since Craig missed the first trip up the canyon I set aside some money to pay for another trip up another canyon. Craig chose Nebo Loop, my personal favorite. So for family night we drove up the canyon to enjoy the leaves. It was beautiful as always.

On the drive up we saw some deer in the road. We stopped so the boys could see. The deer didn't ran away, and they were only feet from our car. Can someone say photo op?

We made a stop at what I thought was Mount Nebo. I was wrong. It was still pretty though.

We tried to prepare for colder weather, but we still weren't prepared enough, especially since it was raining. We had to pull blankets out of the trunk so we could walk around comfortably.

The sun was setting, and photo ops would soon be out of the question, so before the light ran out we made a stop at "The Devil's Kitchen".

And just like that the sun was gone. Craig held up his cell phone so I could try to get one pic of all my boys. A feat I'm yet to accomplish. I had to beg the boys to sit by Baby S long enough for me to get this one.

I didn't get an opportunity to take two year pictures of Little M, so I thought I'd take what I could while we were out viewing leaves. It wasn't a perfectly planned photo session, but they turned out pretty good. Little M was quite a stinker though. He would not cooperate at all, and when he saw the camera he'd quickly turn his back and yell, "No!"

We also snapped some of Baby S today for his one month. He was one month old on the tenth. Can you believe it? His hairline is coming in more on the front, which I find adorable. And he opens his eyes wider now. Looking at these pics I realize just how interactive he seems to be. I feel like he was posing and playing on purpose.
