A Boy Needs His Dad

The boys have really been missing Craig lately. With his crazy work hours he has been kind of scarce.

They ask me all day, "Where's Craig?"

Yes they say Craig even though I have phrased it back as, "Where's Dad" or "Dad's at work" numerous times.

When he does come home they yell out "Craig's Home!" And run to the door

They then show him all their latest excitement. Like the pages they've colored in their "Thomas. . ." coloring book.

They then will sit down and finish watching the "Thomas. . ." episode, that's on, with their daddy.

Here they are watching Nightmare Before Christmas with dad, which happens to be one of Craig's favorites. I let them stay up a little later than usual. After all, it was just too cute when Little H crawled into bed next to Craig, pulled up the covers and said, "Movie?"

And Craig thinks the boys only have eyes for mom.

  1. Dads are definitely important. When Levi goes through a crazy busy streak, it affects all of us. There is nothing quite so nice for the kids or mom (or dad for that matter) as when the little ones snuggle up with Dad.

My kids refer to us as Daddy Levi and Momma Saddie. It's funny, but quite handy in a crowd.
