Fall Trip to Cascade Springs
Every fall we like to drive up the canyon and look at the leaves. This conference weekend we decided to take our annual trip to Cascade Springs.
It was beautiful, as always!
And crowded!
The boys really enjoyed it this year. Everywhere we went they yelled "Water! Water!"
We found a cute fuzzy caterpillar on the trail down. The boys thought it was so fun!
Baby M enjoying some time out of the stroller.
Look at him walk!
These narrow paths aren't made for double strollers.
Luckily a nice man helped Craig down some of the steps.
The boys kept going down here to try and get closer to the water.
Each time they would slip on the dirt and then start to cry. Did that stop them from going down again? Nope! You should have seen their dirty shorts. It was a close competition but Little H's were by far the dirtiest thanks to that root beer he spilled on them earlier.
The boys also liked this rotting log. Big H kept piling leaves on it as if he was thinking, "Oh! This is where they go!"
Someone on the trail ahead of us pointed out this big nest.
Here's a taste of the pretty scenery.
