June 28, 2010: When This Old World Starts Getting You Down. . .

. . .climb way up to the top of the stairs
and all {your} cares just drift right into space

Up on The Roof. . .

We spent the evening dining at The Roof restaurant which is located at the very top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Craig told them it was our anniversary :)

The restaurant was wonderful. I highly recommend it. Though be prepared for the price on the check. Thankfully we had a $100.00 gift card that came with our hotel package. Otherwise we would not have enjoyed this dining experience.

The view is beautiful.

The pianist was wonderful. She was so nice and she played such beautiful music. She made those songs you've heard over and over again on the radio sound so good and easy to listen to.

Craig got up to get some more food and she started to play the song, "Let it Be Me". This is our song and I couldn't believe the odds that she would be playing it while we were there that evening. I started looking around for Craig in excitement and there he was walking back to the table with a silly grin on his face. He had requested it.

I love those moments when you turn around to find the man of your dreams is the man you married.

  1. What a sweet fellow that brother of mine is! Ever chivalrous. It's all those chick flicks I made him watch with me. Your welcome ;)

What a pretty picture with the temple right behind you with the sun shining radiating behind. Wow!
